More About Us

Grant Community School is a kindergarten through fifth-grade school with an enrollment that averages around 450 students. Grant is a two-way immersion/dual language school (English and Spanish). We have a great community support system. If you’re interested in being a community partner, contact us! Our school and students appreciate the help and sense of community our area provides.

Our nickname is the Grizzlies. Below is an attached brochure about our school.

Grant Community School was built in 1955, and named for Civil War general and 18th President of the United States Ulysses S. Grant.

Go to the Grant Neighborhood Association website for information about the Grant community.

Grant is a Dual Language School. For more information download our brochure below. We are one of three Dual Language Schools in the district. Our DL program is completed by a lottery process. Register early (March 1-31st) to ensure consideration. Contact us with any questions.

After completing Elementary School at Grant, our students then move to Parrish Middle School where they have the opportunity to continue their studies in a 50/50 Spanish/English program. Below is an attachment for more information about the program at Parrish.
