Get Ready for Your First Day with Champions
Our program hours are Monday-Friday Morning 6:30am until the school bell and then the afterschool bell until 6pm.
Please pick up by 6pm and allow a few minutes to sign in and sign out, as well as to hear about your child's day with us. On your first day, we will need a few more signatures from you, so please plan for more time with us at pick up.
Children will only be released to adults aged 18 and older, authorized in your online portal as an Emergency Contact. Please be prepared to show ID daily.
Every day is a little different at Champions, but please be sure to take a look at our Parent Board in our Family Communication Area and note our daily program schedule, snack menu, lesson plans, licensing information and staff information.
Healthy snacks are provided every day according to the schedule above. Our Snack Menu is available for review in our Family Communication Area. You may also pack snacks for your child, if you prefer, as long as they are nut free. During in-service days and breaks where we provide full day care (7am-6pm), please be sure to pack your child a lunch.
What to Bring:
- Water bottle (labeled)
- Medications (Please see staff directly and hand to staff, do not send medications with your child.)
- Weather appropriate clothing (add names to sweaters/jackets please!)
We'll see you soon!

About Champions
Health & Safety Protocols
Your child’s health and safety is our priority. To reduce the spread of illness, we’ll ask you a few health screening questions before you come in. Everyone will stop at our Wellness Screening Station before entering the program (staff included), so please build extra time into your schedule to accommodate this routine.
Medication, Allergies, or other Considerations
If your child has any additional needs or medical considerations, please contact us before your child’s first day. For your convenience, we’ve attached the most requested medical forms (Medication Authorization, Topical Ointment Authorization, Allergy Plan, Asthma Plan).
Please keep in mind that all medications must be in their original packaging, with the current Doctor’s prescription and signed authorization forms; we cannot accept expired medications.
Discounts and Financial Assistance
If you qualify for a discount (multi-child, district employee, military, employer, etc.) or financial assistance (subsidy), please let your Site Director know so that proof of eligibility can be verified. Acceptable forms of verification include paycheck stubs, badges, email from a company/military email address, or proof of coverage certificate for subsidized childcare.
If you need help paying for childcare, you can find more information and apply at Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care program.
Scheduling and Billing
Attached you will find our Online Portal FAQ to answer scheduling and billing questions. Need to make a change? No problem! Just make sure to complete any necessary schedule changes by Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. PT the week prior. Our Friday bill is based on your online schedule for the upcoming week, not on your child’s attendance. Please note that if your child needs to attend additional unscheduled days, you will need to verify space with your Site Director first your account will be billed at a drop-in rate. Please pay your tuition every Friday (for the upcoming week) to ensure you do not incur a late fee. If you prefer monthly billing, you are welcome to pre-pay tuition prior to your bill being posted to your account.
